International Kernow Travel Services Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “IKTS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website (www.ikts.co.uk · www.tourguide-partner.com) or use our services.

Applicable law: As our company is registered in the United Kingdom, data processing is governed by the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (UK-GDPR). For visitors resident in the EU, the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR) additionally apply. We commit to the higher protection standard in each case.

1. Information We Collect

• Contact details: Name, email address, phone number and company information when you make inquiries, register for services or contact us directly.
• Professional information: Job title, industry and company, as relevant to the services we provide.

1.2 Non-personal data

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system and other technical details collected automatically when you visit our website.
• Usage data: Information about how you interact with our website — pages visited, links clicked, time spent.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service delivery

• Providing, managing and improving our services, including tour-guide placement and training programmes.
• Processing bookings, payments and fulfilling other contractual obligations.

2.2 Communication

• Responding to inquiries, providing customer support and sending administrative information.
• Sending updates, newsletters and marketing communication, where legally permitted.

2.3 Legal and regulatory compliance

• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations and court orders.
• Protecting our rights, privacy, safety and property as well as the rights of our customers.

3. Sharing Your Data

3.1 Processors in detail

We use the following processors (Art. 28 GDPR) and independent third parties. Transfers to third countries (in particular the USA) are carried out — where no adequacy decision applies — on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR):

All providers are bound by data processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses. A full list of sub-processors is available on request at info@ikts.co.uk.

3.2 Legal obligations

We may disclose your data to comply with legal obligations, court orders or governmental requests.

3.3 Business transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of our company, your information may be transferred to the new owner or entity.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Please note, however, that no method of data transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.

5. Retention Period

We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — you may request the data we hold on you at any time.
• Rectification — you may request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure — you may request the deletion of your data, where no statutory retention obligation prevents this.
• Objection — you may object to the processing of your data for specific purposes (e.g. marketing).
• Data portability — you may request a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection to direct marketing (Art. 21 (2) GDPR) — you may object to the use of your data for marketing purposes at any time without giving reasons. A brief informal message to info@tourguide-partner.com is sufficient.
• Complaint to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) — see Section 12.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage entries) in three clearly separated categories. Non-essential cookies are set only with your explicit consent via the cookie banner pursuant to § 25 (1) TTDSG and Art. 6 (1) a GDPR. You can revoke your selection at any time via the footer link “Cookie settings”.

You can also block or delete cookies generally via your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may limit website functionality.

Google Analytics 4

Once you consent to the “Analytics” category, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and analyses how our website is used — which pages are viewed, which channel visitors arrive through, and which content leads to an enquiry.

The legal basisis solely your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). No Google script is loaded and no cookie is set before you consent. If you withdraw consent via the footer link “Cookie settings”, Google Analytics is disabled immediately and the cookies that were set are deleted.

We have enabled IP anonymisation — your IP address is truncated and not merged with other Google data. Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled, so the data is not used for advertising purposes. Event and user data are deleted automatically after 14 months.

Transfer to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses apply (Art. 46 (2) c GDPR). 8. Contact Forms and Lead Processing

When you use one of our forms — contact request (/contact-us), application (/start#kontakt), brochure download or live-chatbot — we process the following data:

• Mandatory: First and last name, email address, selected interest / free-text message.
• Voluntary: Phone number, location/region, marketing consent (newsletter, further information).
• Technical: Source page (referrer), timestamp, selected language version.

Purposes and legal bases: Processing your request and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR); legitimate interests for abuse prevention and lead qualification (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR); marketing communication only with separate consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR), revocable at any time via the link in any email footer or by email to info@tourguide-partner.com.

Recipients: Form entries (contact, application, brochure) reach our team inbox (info@tourguide-partner.com via Resend).

Live-Chatbot with team handover: If you select “Connect with a team member” in the chatbot and provide your name + email, the conversation is transmitted to our team as a Slack thread (Slack Technologies LLC, USA — see Section 3.1). Transmitted are: name, email, source page, the prior chat history (bot replies and your inputs) plus all subsequent messages in both directions (team replies appear live in the chatbot). The conversation remains stored in the Slack thread as long as our retention policy allows (Slack Free plan: 90 days). On request we will delete the thread earlier — a brief email to info@tourguide-partner.com with your email address is sufficient.

Third-country transfer (USA): Slack is a US provider; the transfer is carried out on the basis of EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) and — if Slack/Salesforce is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework — additionally pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR (adequacy decision).

Beyond our team and the processors listed in Section 3.1, lead data is not shared.

Retention: Active lead communication for the duration of the prospect relationship, at most 24 months after last contact. Upon contract conclusion, statutory retention periods apply (in particular 6 / 10 years under UK Companies Act and German HGB for DE business relationships).

9. Embedded Content (Zoom Scheduler)

On individual pages (in particular /webinar and the application / contact area), we embed a booking calendar by Zoom Video Communications, Inc., 55 Almaden Boulevard, 6th Floor, San Jose, CA 95113, USA (“Zoom Scheduler”). When loaded, cookies are set and data — including IP address, browser information and interactions with the calendar — is transferred to Zoom in the USA.

Click-to-Load:The Zoom Scheduler is not loaded automatically. You must actively click “Accept & load calendar” or accept the “Marketing” category in the cookie banner first. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG. You may revoke your consent at any time via the footer link “Cookie settings”.

Transfer to the USA is carried out on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) and — if Zoom is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework — on the basis of an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, technologies or legal requirements. Changes will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be adjusted accordingly.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority at any time. Competent authorities:
